painted my rims on my ef, lemme know what you think.
i bought these about a month ago, they were alright but ive never been too big into silver wheels and have been looking for a set of gold rims with a polished lip so i did it myself.
i know they look too big but they are 16s and i only gave $100 for them, konig v-race.
warning all you photographers these are camera phone pics.

Thats pretty good for DIY I wish you had a brighter pic you cant really tell that much on a couple, but on the one with the wheel just sitting there looks jewel, I like silver rims though they looked good before you painted aswell I thought
thanks, they look better than the pics show the only bad part is the lip is oxidized, so im gonna refinish that soon, and i got a little overspray on the tires which doesnt matter because they are trash anyway. i sanded them, primed them with a dark primer(2 coats) to make the gold not so yellow, then sanded the primer, painted (3 coats) and wet sanded. still debating on wether or not to clear them.
the silver was alright but ive had a wheel boner over gold for a while now and i figured i could always go back to the silver.

i used engine enamel, i painted some wheels before with the wheel paint and it peeled off when it got hot so i figured the engine enamel will work better, its just called universal gold.

also cleaned up the lip on one of the wheels alot today. sanded it down and polished it.
