i've already researched this and tried to find an answer to my problem but to no avail. Here's the problem : i'm not getting any spark in cylinder 3 after using a spark plug tester, i replaced all the spark plugs out as well as the spark plug wires, and i'm still not getting spark in the third cylinder, i've also taken off the distributor cap, the cap and rotor looks completely fine, but this is also my only guess would be that maybe one of the prongs on the distributor still isn't touching the rotor, please help, i've exhausted all my answers. I'm not really sure as to what else to do.

 

Regardless of how it looks, I would try a different cap and then see what happens.

 

yeah thats what i figured, that and replace the rotor while i'm at it. thanks man

Also change your rotor when changing your cap, if that doesn't help check out the icm.

 

I figured the icm would cause none of the cylinders to fire, not just a single cylinder.
