Default b20 vtec question

i was curious about something...I have a b20 vtec in my integra just put it together. i have skunk2 im, dc header, apexi exhaust, 11.8:1 compresion (JE pistons), eagle h beam rodes, fully ballanced (rods, pistons, and crank) bored 20 over, golden eagle block guard, my car sounds like a chevy pickup (lopes) is that normal? It doesn't seem to be running bad at all. Just curious

sounds normal. depending on cam overlap (where you have your cam gears set) you will get a rough idle. my car does the same thing with toda b's.

i have a gsr head on b20 block using the gsr timing belt and oil pump and the head gasket i got is made for the swap. go to lightningmotorsports.com they should have what you are looking for. What pistons and rods you using?? because i have JE Pistons and Eagle rods. the bolts in the bottom of the rod prevents you from putting the plate in that stops the oil from slushing around when the rods go up and down. Golden eagle makes a modified one you may want to think about getting if your going with the same set up.
