Default Ticket....Riverside,CA

sup guys i got a ticket for my intake...living in CA is a bitch...the fine is $357...i thought if i get it fixed and go to court i would just have to pay a small fine...but guess not, just got back and i have the pay the full $357. expletive just for a stupid intake. I'm sure some of you recall the night in riverside,ca when the cops popped out of know where and popped everybodys hood...well i was there for the first time and got fucked in the ***...moral of the story is get CARB legal parts...I've learned my lesson...going back to my stock box...haha....

Update...7/16/06

i got a extention on my ticket to pay for it...i wanted to know if i could get another extention???

Did you get it sign off by the ref before you went to the court house to pay the ticket. Because if the Ref sign it off you will not have to pay for the fine. I got bust in Norcal and my ticket was 359 dallors but I went to the Ref to get it sign off and after that I went to the court house and my fine was only 10 dallors for the paper work.

Should have done a little more research, you could have put your stock box on got the ticket signed off and paid $10. Sucks for you, buddy.

yah...get a AEM CAI, they come with carb legal stickers, I had a cop pop my del sol hood once and was like "ooooh you got me there, carb legal, good for you" and he closed my hood...no ticket i would say it looks like you just have to take the hit here. But get the AEM CAI.

I will have to say that damn near 100% of people involved with modding cars know the laws, especially here in Cali. Tired of people bitching when they get busted and then talk **** about cops. If you are going to be living outside the law make don't bitch/whine when you get a ticket.
