Default What size fuse/wire for battery relocation?

Already searched this a lot... My battery says "cranking amps" = 544 amps. Is that how big an inline fuse in the + wire has to be? That sounds really, really high. Is it okay to run a 4 ga. wire? Is the fuse REALLY necessary? Thanks in advance.

First of all, if you can find a 544 amp fuse, I'll buy it for you...

Second, 4 ga is fine.

Third, yes the fuse is necessary. 60 amp should be sufficient.

That's what I figured. I was like wtf, this is a 4 banger, not a 14 wheeler. I know that was kinda rudimentary, but thanks.
