question about distributor and ecu

Default question about distributor and ecu

can i use a obd-1 distributor with my obd-0 ecu? or do i have to use a obd-1 ecu as well its for a LS motor. any help would be appreciated...thanks

From what I've read you cant. I'm kind of in the same boat as you. But.... I dont see why not (guess it depends on the obd0 dizzy tho.) if they both are a 7pin set-up.

The ecu and distributor have to match (OBD wise). Either use a OBD1 ecu with a OBD0-OBD1 harness adapter, or use a OBD0 distributor on the motor.
