Default Weight reduction for Pro/Am All Motor Question...

We're building our Eg hatch for the Pro/Am classes an was wondering how to shed some weight and still be legal.I heard of people cutting doors and putting panels back, removing stuff behind the dash but do they check that at tech?Any ideas or pics would be greatly appreciated.

Probably not too many people willing to share their secrets with weight reduction especially being all motor where weight is just as important as power...

Im interested as well, maybe i can apply some of them to my street car

If you cut your car and get caught. Imagine how stubid you will look. Build your car legalally and by the rules, no gray area BS. If you go fast nobody can say anything.

I want to be legal. In the rule book it just says gotta have panels, but nothin about what's under them. How did you get your "All Motor Stret Car to 2080 lbs.I know the cx isnt that light from factory.
