whats wrong with the AEM?
i just put back on the aem cai after a long winter and i realize what i have noticed every summer, after reving hard in second i punch it into third and the car bogols
it hapens every time unless i take my time while shifting into third
it doesn't happen i any other gears.
can anyone relate or mabe give an explenation as to why this happens??

You might just wanna reset the ECU... you need the car to recognize the change in the air consumption... if not that then I have no idea... I've never had no problems when I had an AEM in my GS-R....

There are two ways you can do this... unplug the ECU and leave it unplugged for about 30 seconds to a minute and then plug it back in... the other way is to pull the ECU fuse under your hood next to the battery and let it sit for the same amount of time... by doing this you will have to reset everything in your car again.. not major things, but probably your clock and radio settings and what not... also this will let your ECU pick up any new mods done to the car...
Well, if even that... the midrange power lag wouldn't cause the car to bog like that... and all cars differ depending on your setup... let me know what happens after you reset the ECU if that even helps at all...
