Default Fuel Delivery Problem?

Interesting problem that's been getting progressively worse lately.

Under hard braking or decently firm braking (when the car is in neutral), my idle drops from the normal 800 to around 300-400 then when stopped goes back up to the normal 800. I've actually had the car stall out on me before under very hard braking/in neutral. So basically I'm assuming there's something wrong with the fuel pickup?

The car does this regardless of how full the fuel tank is (completely full/almost empty).

Any suggestions on what it could be?

Thanks a lot .

i would test the vacuum, hook up a vac line to a guage and run the engine @ full operating temp. then press the brakes and check.

maybe a bad booster is messing it up. (or valve)

I'll check this out this weekend...once I replace my blown passenger's side axle that is lol.

Would this be covered in the factory support manual, or is it an isolated problem (doesn't happen often)?

Thanks again!

Almost forgot to add:

Check your coolant for bubbles? I had a friend with that exact same problem. Turned out that the lumpy idle/almost dying was due in part to bubbles in his coolant.
