i tried searching for this and didn't find anything about it, so if there IS a topic about this, just post a link...
...anyways, i have a '00 Si with this apexi N1 exhaust (came on the car when i bought it):
it is a snug fit inbetween it and the cutout on the back bumper of my car and recently it has been starting to melt away at the bumper. i want to get an exhaust with a smaller "tip", but is there anything i can do in the meantime so it doesn't screw up my bumper any more than it already has? any heat shielding or something along those lines?

i had the same problem with my magnaflow on my civic. i just lifted it up and loosened some stuff, tweaked it aruond and its not melting anymore. or you could just wait for it all to melt away....
some sort of heat shelding might work. idk. worth a shot! good luck!
