89 LXi timing belt
Hey guys, I'm new to the accord... been a CRX guy for a while. My dad wants me to change the timing belt on his 89 LXi (automatic). I had the hood open, looks pretty much the same as my CRX, is there anything different I should know? How do you guys brace the crank pulley to get the bolt off on an automatic, assuming the impact gun won't take it off (in my experience, it doesn't always break it loose)? Anything else much different about the timing belt change that I should know about?
Also, the car has a water leak, I am assuming it's the sunroof drains since there is no hatch or washer squirter. Where do the drains come out in the car, I'm going to clean them out.
Thanks in advance

To remove the crank bolt most people just place a large flat head screw driver in the opening for the timing light on the opposite side of the block and either use a strong impact gun or a large breaker bar.
As for the sun roof there should be drains that go into both front wheel wells and one to each rear. To access the ones in the rear you need to pull back the trunk lining to see them.

You can open the sunroof and dump some water on either side of the sunroof track and watch your wheel wells. You should see water leaking from each when you dump water on that side of the car if not you can usually blast it out with a light shot of compressed air. then do the same test (but check your front floorboards and trunk to be sure you didn't knock the hoses off)
