Advice on supercharging a sohc w/ nos
I've toying w/ the idea of buying a supercharger for my sohc and adding nos to the mix...just wondering if anyone out there has this on the sohc motor and what they think of a setup like this? just want some overall ideas and perhaps some cons/pros of doing this setup..thanks
I run a supercharger on my B18c, but on a single cam motor a turbo would be more beneficial. A turbo would do what a supercharger and n20 would do. You have to remember that on the D16 Jackson runs the smaller M45 blower, instead of the M62. If you really want to do the super, than contact Endyn for there M62 conversion kit that adapts the M62 blower to the D series motors.
What are you looking to get out of your car?
Supercharged Ds are a blast, but there's only a few of us running them, and none of us (that I know of) are running N2O.
