checking obd2 to obd1 code. I need help.
Not sure if i stated that correctly, but this is what i'm trying say. My bro has a 00 civic si and he is running a chipped p28 ecu. We found out that the cam gear skip a tooth and the idling was off The car could no idle on it's own with out have the throttle cable pull tightly. After fixing the timing by adjusting the cam gears the car idle fine, but after 15mins of driving the check engine light cam on. Can any one tell me how to check the code on an obd2 car with a obd1 harness running a chip p28.
