Idle/RPM Problem PLEASE HELP!
Hi there,
I have a '88 CRX Si and I've been having some RPM problems lately. First off, I was having some high idle speed problems. If I let off the throttle gradually, the car would idle at around 2000 RPM. If I blipped the throttle, then the idle would return to normal. So I cleaned the butterfly valve with some butterfly valve cleaner, but I still had a high idle speed (only now blipping the throttle didn't help). So, I adjusted the throttle cable to lower the idle speed. So now the idle speed was about back to normal again. Only now when I let off the throttle, the RPMs will drop below the idle speed and buoy back up (I'm not sure if this problem was present before I did everything tho). And I have no idea what's causing this.
If anyone could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. And sorry for the LONG problem discription.
Thanks in advance.

its all good about the long problem description. we all do it to get the most acurate awnser as posible. take your time and check all of your vaccum lines around your plenum.if one line is off it will make your rpm's pulsate throught ut the time the car is on since its gonna get more air than it should get when idling.good luck. check that and let us know.
Sorry for taking so long to post back, but I checked all the vacuum lines (that I know of) and there don't seem to be any leaks there. It'd be best if u had a picture of which lines exactly i should check, cuz to be honest i'm kinda a newb.
Other than that, would there any other reason for the abnormalities?
Thanks again
