Tool rental: Struct/Shock spring compressor
I was going to replace my shocks today and have asked Kragen to reserve the spring compressor for me. They reserved the coil spring compress which is not good, and I have searched the whole San Francisco and none have it for rent, they were all rented out. The counter guy suggested I should go ask a shop to do it and it only cost $20 to compress and replace the shocks, and the shop quote me $80 for all 4.
At the end, I say to hell with it. I am buying a spring compressor and will start leasing to people who got fed up with Kragen in San Francisco, thinking about renting it out for $5 a day (1 less than Kragen) and discount for weekday rental (2 day for the price of one).
Anyone local interested?

1) I will have to cross the bridge which cost $3, twice, to get it.
2) I didn't bought my shocks there and if Kragen is loaned out in the entire city/near by area, I don't think AutoZone will be available that easily.
