Hey I'm Augie, and I'm sure this is a first in a series of questions...so here goes. I'm rebuilding my All-Motor project, using all stock Honda Parts. I'm not looking to rev to 11k, just pull to 7500 confidently like I used to do. Im rebuilding my B20 head, and would like to know which valve springs would be better to use this time around.




The B20 spring is "chunkier" than the B18B spring, but its got the secondary spring to sit inside. Thoughts? Gurus?

no way your gonna rev to 11k on honda springs.

well, let me rephrase that. you'll rev to 11k for a bit, then it wont rev any more. just get after market springs. its worth it.

oh, and b18b's didnt come with dual springs. b18c's did.

err...i said i didnt want to rev to 11k, but yeh, thanks for the input.

wonder if maybe these are aftermarket then... i bought them used off of ebay and they came in a crower box. hrm...

look like vtec springs... measure the height in mm and i can give u an answer tommorrow

More likely they are GSR or some other type of vtec valve spring.
