i will need some new tires real soon.. but dont feel like spending too much on new tires

has anyone have any expirience with the folowing tires? care to give some reviews?

kumho AST 46 $ a tire
kumho ecsta 711 45$ a tire
kumho 712 58$ a tire
dunlop direzza dz101 48$ a tire

 

of the ones you emntioned the dz101 are probably the best.
the AST is an all season if i recall, so it wont be able to offer the same performacen a summer tire can.
the 711 and 712 are older models whose performance has been outdone by the newer ecsta SPT which is Kumho's response to the yokohama avs es100 which outperforms the 711 and 712 in almost every category as seen here.
the dz101 is supposed to have very similar perofrmance characteristics to the es100 which just bested the 712 in the test above, which i will be finding out firsthand in about a week.

I've heard bad things about kumhos, but I have 712s and I like em a lot.

 

This should be in the Tire and wheel forum not here. Also what car do you have what size wheels do you have and what is your driving style.
