Default Car wouldn't turn over w/key only when push start...

So i get off work and try to start my car, nothing, no click no nothing... Lights were a little dim and a little "shaky" so to say.... so i checked my +/- on the battery, those were okay. i decide to push start... it starts but is idleing rough as hell... wont even go past 3,500rpm and almost died everytime i hit tha gas.. anyways i turn the car back off and push start again and everything is okay.. i take off haulin *** home so it doesnt die again... tha whole ride home everytime i hit a bump or crack or something like that my car would like want to die and all tha lights would dim... WTF?
