Hey guys,
I am removing all the parts from a 96 civic ex and trying to put them in a 97 ek. I really need help removing the dash in the 96 ex...... I have unscrewed all the bolts and screws i can *get* too. There are some such that i can't see how to get them. If you can help pease reply, i can give you move description. Thanks for the help.

did you take off the glove box and that piece right by the shifter and the piece under the steering column?

 

Pain in the ***, take your time and check for every screw and bolt some are kinda hidden

 

first take out garnish on top of dashboard right in the middle, take out bolt.

then you have one on the outside on the drivers side

then you have two on the passenger side (the dashboard is kinda hung in there in the brackets)

you also have two on the drivers side inside facing the a pillar.

the you have two in the back of the steering rack and two nuts in the front. also one single bolt on the right hand of the steering rack in the back

also you need to loosen the connection to the floor underneath the center console. make sure to disconnect all harnesses from the fuse box and the dasboard wiring from the main harness. also don't forget to unhook antenna.
