the boost controller wouldn't matter if he left the vacuum line left open on the w/g. it would just boost to heaven if it could.

Do you have a boost cut set in your computer? What ecu/standalone?

also make sure that the spring is a 14psi spring, or try moving to a higher psi spring to trouble shoot.

this is really wierd. are you sure you're boost gauge works properly? does it only feel like 10 psi? there obviously is something that we are overlooking here, because mechanically this thing should boost with the vaccum unplugged unless there is a boost cut set in the ems. try taking everything on your car off down to the last bolt, strip all the paint off, spray it all down with degreaser, and then put it all back together and see what happens... .......hey, wierd problems sometimes call for wierd solutions. j/k. i look forward to seeing what the problem and solution is.

quick question

was the turbo brand new when u got it and if not what condition is it in?
my cousin had a ct26 for his mr2 turbo rebuilt and it wouldnt boost right because the exhaulst wheel was messed up missing teeth or something, it was only pushing 2 or 3 psi when on the old ct26 we were at 10psi

a 60-1 should be more than enough turbo for more than 450 hp. civic in town making 505 on that turbo.

power isn't the issue here. he didn't say the car wouldn't make power, he said it wouldn't make boost over 10psi. i'm still not sure what it could be other than a boost cut, because that turbo can make well over 10psi in boost.
