Slammed DA ride quality....
OK. My DA is pretty slamed to the ground as they come. I have some tokico blue shocks on it. Those are like a step above stock replacements. The problem is with it so low there is barley enough travel to soak up the smallest of bumps, Just hits the bump stops and yes I did cut them in half.
Has anyone tried repositioning the mount on the lower control arm to make the shock sit any lower??? I was thinking of just drilling a hole farther up the mounting bracket on ther shock and welding the nut back on.
Also do any of you know a shock with an over all smaller body for this type of problem.
I dont want to raise it up or put gay air suspension on it, save that for the stupid mini trucks.
Or will I just have to live with it. DA s look bad *** slammed to the ground.

you should look into swapping your DA struts and get a full coilover kit for an EF application. they are the same, only different is the shock travel. do a search on it and im sure you will find that a few DA owners have done this.
you might want to consider some stiffer spring rates since its for the EF application and our DA's weight a lil more

I will deff look into that EF conversion. I not looking for it to ride like a caddy or anything. I dont like it botoming out so easy.
My car looks like it has some $25 ebays coil overs on it. I bought the car like this. You really do get what you pay for. I sure they are have some play in this also. Spring for some skunk duce.

that's the problem right there.. tokico blues are decent shocks you should just get some decent springs

pretty easy to do as well.
pretty easy to do as well.
ground control makes the top hats
suspension techniques used to make drop forks also which were pretty cool
from my experience they both suck for dumped da's anything lower than the stock limit and your upper control arms will be bottoming out or riding on the inner fender. da's dont have much clearance when it comes to the front
