01 gsr- when i brake it makes a popping nosie and has since ive owned the car, what do you think it is ?? nothing major but i cant figure out what it is ... its like i dont know how to describe it just a pop when i brake or start to accelerate.. and not always sometimes..

 

does it just pop once? or multiple times

 

It could be your axle nuts. That would be a relatively quiet, single pop.

 

is it coming from your engine? make sure you are running the correct octane of fuel

 

nah i use 91 octane.. or whatever is the hgihest grade... but um ythe axle seems reasonable... i think its just one pop but it happens here and there... not consecutively so i would imagine thats the noise.. do you mind describing how i can get rid of it

 

My axel nuts were tightened by Acura under warranty. Just try tightening them. You will need to undo the lock tab first. I do not have my manual here for the torque specs.
