Default 96 civic loose axle nut?

ok so my cars been making a reall annoying noise from the right front wheel, it sounds like a brake problem, i replaced the brake pads but i noticed that only half of the rotor and half the brake was being used when i took it all apart today, i also noticed that it seems like my axle isnt in tight behind the hub, when i swapped my tranny i dont think i tightened the axle nut tight enough, could this be a reason why im getting this noise?

There is no nut holding your axle behind the hub, only in the front. It can not be put into the tranny all the way.

naa i know theres only a nut in front of the hub, but im saying i dont think its tight enough bc the axle feels a little loose and the hub feels loose , even with the rotor off etc the hub will move a little bit freely like back and forth if im explainin that right...

if you left that axle nut loose then your wheel bearing is probably bad now so your gonna have to have that replaced... thats probably the reason for all the movement and looseness.

If there's only one pad getting used then there is an issue with your brakes. Probably a sticking caliper.

Yes, If its a humming noise its the bearing. Is that how it sounds? A rough humming.

hmm now its doing it again ,is it possible that my axle nut became loose again just from driving? lke i said it was fine at firs then the noise started, then i tightened the axle nut and it was fine again, now its gradually getting worst... so im assuming the axle nut became loose again? but why would this happen?

a strong screw driver and light taps with hammer will do it.

It sounds like you messed up the outer cv joint, probably from running it at too harsh of an angle. You'll need a new axle if that's the case.

Clicking when turning is usually a sign of a bad CV joint.
