So yea guys...I'm sitting in my car, waiting for it to cool down, and get some water for my car, stumped trying to figure out what could be the problem. I just droped this dohc zc in my hatch and have been having heating up problems since it was in.

I never had heating up problems with my previous engine, so that outrules my radiator being bad. I was thinking it could be the headgasket that was bad, so I pured in some liquid that reinforces and seals any leaks the engine might have, but it seems like it has just made my problem bigger.

It almost seems like my motor could have a clog somewhere or something.

I even took out the thermostat and still the same.

When I turn the car on without the radiator cap, the water starts to overflow, not like drasticly, but enough to spill the water inside the radiator.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I am stuck on the side of a sidestret on my sidekik with no one around to help me. Thanks h-t.

Did you belled ur coolant after the swap? Sounds like u got major air in the lines.

 

i doubt its that. and if it is, how do i take it out?
