leaking water?
I've been trying to fix an overheating problem for the last few days. I've replaced a faulty radiator cap (honda insisted it was faulty) and that didnt help. I've replaced the thermostat myself (correctly). Weirdest thing too, when i pulled off the thermostat housing I was shocked to hell to see just the tip of a thermostat left! No spring or anything. All that was in there was the circle piece secured to the gasket. Anyways the thermostat didnt fix the problem either. Lower and Upper radiator hoses are getting hot. The car takes anywhere from 5-10 solid minutes of driving before slowing raising the temperature gauge. Could it be a radiator thats working ,but not sufficiently? Also I just just just noticed before I came in to type this up; I'm leaking water from somewhere underneath the car. Its behind the firewall, so its not from the engine I assume. Could the water be from a heater hose?...... Im just frustrated now so any help would be appreciated. thanks guys
