Can't get crank pulley off
I am trying to install an Unorthodox Racing underdrive crank pulley on my 94 Hatch with a D15B7. The problem I am having is that I can't get the crank pulley off for anything. I tried a 3-foot breaker bar and an impact wrench (both with the car in 1st gear and reverse. The breaker bar just turns the motor and the impact doesn't do anything except make a ton of noise. Has anyone else had a problem like this? What else should I try?
Good point, I did forget to search.
I'm getting ready for work and posted real quick. Sorry if this has already been answered.

Believe it or not I am using a 1/2" impact and it's turned up all the way. My compressor is pretty big and brand new. I'm going to try taking off the inspection cover on the bottom of the trans and wedging a pry bar on the ring gear to keep the motor from turning then using my breaker bar on the crank bolt. We'll see if that works.
I had the same problem as you. The D15B7 crank pulley is a POS and apparently the people who made it didn't really care if it was impossible to remove. This is how I got the bolt loose...

I used an impact gun and blasted the bolt for about 15 minutes before it came off but YES it does come off. Just keep on blasting. I remember that the socket got really hot when I was finished but don't give up if you have an impact gun, trust me it will come off. Don't forget to let the air compressor recharge the tank!
heat it up with a torch till it turns red (takes a minute or 2) throw a big cup of water at it and zap it off with a gun. You gotta be quick, like 5 seconds from the time you remove the heat till the time you zap it with the gun, or you'll have to do it over.
