Default Tachmeter

Alright I have another problem i bought a FAZE tach and i hooked everything up but i cant find the negative wire to the ignition coil so my tach lights up but my rpms arent workin so can someone either tell me where it is or how to do it or something but i have a 90 ef sedan

tach signal is the blue wire in the 2-wire connector at the distributor

ok so its the blue wire coming directly out of the distrubitor right cause there is a blue and a black wire but last night when i touched them together the rpm on the tach didnt move

did you set it to 4 cylinder? connect green tach wire to blue wire at distributor - red to switched power and black to ground

yea thats what i did but my tach rpm meter still didnt move at all but ima try again in like 20 min

yes first 2 switches on left - up is "ON" - did your car have OEM tach? if so, you may need to disconnect the blue tach wire from the cluster - not sure, never installed Faze

yea it has a oem tach in the dash so if it does i would have to disconnect that bluse wire from the distributor?? then connect it to my faze tach??

is u take the cover off your cluster you should see a blue wire running into it. This is the tach signal wire. Tap into that and there you go. You don't have to run a wire into your firewall. If you still need help let me know and i can link you to a thread

yea thats what i did and now i got everything going tach works fine but 2 nights ago i blew my headgasket so now im really pissed
