Red spoon lugs (in case anyone wanted to see them on)
Yes, they are $5 each, I got them from SPOONSPORTS and a set of mag lugs. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=154329
The only thing is the red anodized rubs off real easy after putting them on once. I am planning to get them powdercoated black.
I clean the wheels often, I got them powder coated back in November of 00.

The Spoon Lugs are open-ended correct? Are they better than the KYOGUGEN or Skunk2?

these are aluminum, or at least they seem to be, very light, lighter than the kyogugen, unless they are not supposed to be. Anyone know what the Spoon are supposed to be made out of? If they are they do not seem very strong. Kind of worried, I just put them on and took the pictures then took them off, I don't like the red, it does stand out to much.
here are some more pics.

I've had my set for about two years and have had zero problems with them. Just use antiseize on the threads and a torque wrench on the key and you'll be fine.
i posted some more pics. Look up.
I was thinking of getting a set of McGard locks, the ones with teh colored caps to match the set when they are black.

Those are exactly like mine. The red kicks ***.
They're aluminum which is a soft metal and probably why they don't seem too "strong". If you shove two in your pocket for a day, you'll end up with minor imperfections in the finish... but who cares, since they for function first. The finish is supposed to get marks on the seat mark if you torque your wheels correctly.
These are tapered lugs. Don't OEM R wheels use a acorn lug?

OT: But who makes the best lugnuts and the lightest? I was looking at these... http://www.inlinefour.com/axulraclugnu.html and these http://www.inlinefour.com/skunmagraclu.html Which ones do you think?
Did the person you bought them from tell you that they are tappered seat? and that OEM are acorn seat?
By using those on your OEM rims the lugs will not seat correctly, only about 10% of the lug actually seats. That small seating section gets eaten up and the rims will have free play..
RBoosted will be posting a pic to show what I mean
