what your looking for are numbers that are in the same range. i think they are 160+ for a gsr, i dont know exactly someone can chime on that. but you want something like

180 179 183 185 for example
something like 90 180 200 132 would be bad

hence numbers in the same range....

good luck mate

at least 190 imo. 185 is ok, but i wouldn't give it a passing grade.

my 2000 gsr read 235 straight across, even after being turbo'd for 9 months.

i think 10:1 is 200-235psi and 9:1 is 185-200psi....something like that.

Found out this info: for both the b8c1 and c5 the standard is 270 psi with a min of 135 and apparently with a max variation of 28 psi btw cylinders. This is info is confirmed by two separate sources. More info can be found at one of the sources: http://www.team-integra.net/se...=1086

Wow, that's high. According to the Helms :

The b17a1 Nominal 184, Min 134 Var 28 I don't have the specs on the B18c.
b18a1 Nominal 185, Min 135 Var 28

Surprising that the b18c's compression would be that high, but they do have higher static compression. I am stumped that the low (9.2) compression on the b18a1 yeilds higher compression numbers than the b17a1.

Yeah if the variation is off to much i will not take it. What i am surprised about is that the c1 and c5 are the same, i would have thought that the c5 would be higher.....good info nevertheless, perhaps the figures for all these motors should be added to the FAQ
