Stock gsr compression?
What should the stock compression on a brand new gsr motor be? Also what should the leakdown look like on a new gsr motor? Also I plan on buying a used gsr motor so what should compression and leakdown look like on a used gsr motor that hasn't been beat on. The motor im looking at has around 70k on it.

190-200 is good. At least you know it wasn't abused to bad. A friend of mine just did an obd0 sir b16 in his car and it had 180 180 175 180 and leakdown of 3% across the board. I was amazed that it was that good.

hopefully it wasnt abused. i got it from a guy that told me the car was perfect. i soon found out that it needed new cam seals and crank seals (he cleaned it up before i got there so i couldnt tell), also he told me it had a gsr tranny and about a month later i noticed there was a vin number on it so i carfaxed it and it came back off a 99 ls. also the input shaft bearing started to make noise about a week or so after i bought it. and just some other random bullshit. im glad that the motor is strong tho lol one good thing about the car. but i got it for 3200 so i dont think i did too horrible
