Default Is there any hope left for my motor Picture inside

so i just swapped in a p30 b16 into my crx, it took me 10 months to get it running perfect, while going to school and working full time, and now this happens. Yesterday was the first day i had my car out and running perfect for the first day and then while i am on the freeway i think i hear a knocking sound but am not sure so i open up my windows and listen, then all of the sudden my cabbin starts filling with smoke and the oil light comes on, i turn my car off and have it towed, when i get home i see that my oil pan gasket is busted and it was seeping oil onto the the exhaust manifold. I took off my oil drian plug bolt and saw this!!!

The oil pan still had about 2 quarts worth of oil left in it, do you think there is any hope left for my motor, or does it needs a rebuild, also i saw metal shavings in the oil runners down from the head, is there any way i can get them out

the material is magnetic so its something very serious and if the oil pan is now damaged to the point where oil is blowwing out of it i say you my have broken a connecting rod.

drop the oil pan and report back. yes there is still a chance you can salvage something from the motor.

If you spin a rod bearing in the crank is junk.

depends on how oil starved it got. Really at this point only a full teardown with a knowledgable eye will know for sure.
