Default coolant leaking out from back-up light switch?????

just like the title says, a few days ago, my car was overheating, found it was the thermostat and replaced it and the car was fine, now yesterday i come out to coolant running out from underneath my car so i followed the leak all the way up to the back up light switch on my tranny.
i have searched and have found nothing on coolant coming out from this particular area, i also removed the switch and found that there was no washer that apparently is suppose to be there according to illustration on hondaautomotiveparts.com,
i am on my way to the dealer right now to pick up that washer but i find it hard to believe that that is the main problem to my coolant issues since the car ran without leaks before without the washer. anyone got any ideas?

no way man. there is no coolant in the transmission period. you might be low on tranny fluid, but coolant is limited to the engine. try tracing the leak up higher. It could just be that you over filled the radiator or something.

It's probably leaking from an upper hose onto that switch...
