Default B16 Hesitation Please Help

Thanks for taking the time to look at this. I have a OB0 B16 in my Crx. Around 6k it falls flat on its face. I was getting the secondary 02 sensor code so I swithced the sensors around and the code stopped. My friend and I played with the ignition timing and got it to go to 7k. It feels like its not getting enough fuel. Sort of like running into a rev limiter but its not. My friend checked vaccuum lines and said that the main ones are fine. I do know the IACV isnt hooked up but I doubt that would have an effect on vtec crossing over. Another theory is that the wire i have isnt getting enough voltage to get the vtec solenoid going. If you have an insight as to what I should check please let me know. My ecu is a PWO. Cant get my picture to come up

im amost sure that the vtec wont cross over if the vss isnt up to par.
fix that and drive it again, oh yeah reset the ecu too.

OK. Checked all vacuum lines to fuel pressure regulator and such. All three grounds are intact. Thermo to wiring harness, valve cover to frame, and the battery to transmission. Cleaned all the ground mounting points. Still falls flat on its face around 6 when vtec is supposed to engage. Do I have a bad vtec solenoid?

Bump. Completely rewired vtec. No other check engine lights except the VSS how can I correct this. Is it the reason my vtec bogs down?

vtec will not engage unless the VSS code is fixed. 6k-7k is just where the low cam runs outta steam.

wont the motor still rev to 7500 even if vtec doesn't work. i know a sohc will. so i don't think its got to do with the vtec. i think theres some thing else wrong here.
