Planning to get a Stage 1 camshaft for my d16y8, but I'm not sure which one to get? There hasn't been any comparisons between the Skunk2 and the Zex that I can find. I'm leaning towards Zex just because it's cheaper, but I'm wondering how they compare performance wise? Where do they focus gains on? My car is a minor build with dc 4-2-1 header, ws2 catback, aem CAI, aem tru time cam, putting in a VAFC tomorrow, and lastly i need a camshaft before my dyno. Which will give me a more noticeable gain and better gain between mid and high?

 

i would say go with the skunk cam. zex is more for nitrous

Good to know, thanks. Where can I find skunk2s with the lowest prices? Ebay has $309 with california tax and there's some sites selling 316 and I don't know what shipping is.
