need help wit gas meter!!

here i go...

i have a 1994 civic cx
LSv motor.. Walbro 255 LPH fuel pump

i replace the gas meter today..coz myold gas meter wont move or jus go no further then half tank..

so when i put the NEW part in nothing happen it jus stay at half tank..

is a cx gas tank 6 to 8 gallons?? when i look in the tank it looked full?? wow im lost..LOL
