Default Air Condition problem

Alright,i have an 97 ex and when i come to a stop the ac craps out.Ive checked the pressure with a gauge and it says its charged. Now after looking around i noticed there is an after market header installed and it happens to be right behind the condensor fan. Could the header getting hot cause my ac to get warm while im not moving?

how hot is it really outside?? when you come to a stop the ac does get a bit warmer because the compressor is not spinning as fast, but does it totaly sh*t out?

You have a shitty tiny AC system that sucks at cooling things down to begin with. Thank you honda.
Then you add 90 degree temps, a header by the condenser and probably a pretty nasty looking condenser, you start to run higher temps and pressures on your liquid line. There's a good chance that you're not getting a solid column of liquid to your metering device. Your evap only cools with liquid. Vapor doesn't cool ****.
It's part of living in hot climates. See if you can replace the condenser fan with a serious high CFM fan to try to cool your condenser down more, or just suck it up.
