1992 Honda Prelude Clean Title : Theft Recovery : Some Mods : Cheap Project
Ok so when I was going to school in TX, my car got broken into and some thieves took some parts. I came back and it was sitting on some logs.
I found the thieves and now dem bitchez are soon going to be giving me money.
Anyways, I'm just gonna sell whats left of it and get a different car.
What they stole is:
Intake
CD Player
Headlight Bulbs + Harness
Wheels/Tires (im looking for some steelies) and lugnuts
Hood (I'm including a VIS carbon fiber hood)
The mods that are still on it are:
H23/VTEC Swap with 85k on block, 125k on head
H23 Tranny and OEM Flywheel
ARP Headstuds
JDM Blackhousing Headlights
WWRS Front Lip (a little damaged though)
BW Side Skirts
Tinted Windows
Custom Taillights w/ LED Bulbs
2.5in exhaust header back, slanted muffler
Short Shifter
ACT Stage 3 Clutch (less than 100 miles on it, basically brand new)
AEM Alternator Pulley
Underdrive Pulley
Hondata IM Gasket
Ground Control adjustable Coilovers
Tokico 5-way adjustable shocks
Front Slotted Rotors
Things that were replaced new with the swap are:
Headgasket
Timing belt, Tensioner, Waterpump
Axles
Alternator
Radiator
Things Extra that will come with the car: (some of the recovered items also)
Alternators (2)
A/C Compressor
Complete ABS Unit
Stock Front Rotors and New Brake Pads
Digital Prelude Gauges (not yet installed)
Front upper strut and rear lower tie bars
Stock Taillights
H23 Intake Manifold
VIS Carbon Fiber Hood
Valve Cover
It is black exterior (never repainted) with black cloth interior. The interior is Complete (its black) and in very good condition. The car was taken care of very well when I had it. This car has never been in an accident. I had a carbon fiber hood but I got that back from the police and I will include that too. There was rust on the rear fenders but I had that fixed and they were spray painted over with a spray can and they still need to be clearcoated. The front bumper cover may need to be replaced because the tabs are broken off and the front bumper was screwed on (dont ask). There are some minor dings and scratches on the paint. I never had a spoiler on it so there are still four small holes in the trunk from the stock spoiler. I had some small tabs that covered them. There are 125k original miles on the car, 85k on the '96 h23a1 block and 125k on the '95 h22a1 head. When the swap was put in, the power steering and a/c was removed. I never had the vtec wires hooked up when I had it, so the vtec wont work. I was going to have a wiretuck done on the engine so the wires are not bolted down. After the theives broke into it, some water may have gone into the engine because they stole the valve cover and the hood, so it would basically need a thorough wash. The block, head, and tranny are in perfect mechanical condition otherwise. Also, the Master Cylinder will need to be replaced soon. This is a "project car" or a perfect part out project for someone to make more money. I am looking for some steelies, so it will probably come on steelies. I have a hood and valve cover for it now and it is covered. It has a clean title, registered in my name. I am the third owner. If you have any questions, PM me or email me at twopointtwo@gmail.com
I AM ASKING 2500 FOR EVERYTHING.
BEFORE: (bragging rights)

AFTER: (dem bitchez)

You can see how dirty it got here. They stole a few cam cap bolts as well.

They used my floor jack.

It needs a wire tuck badly.

The rust was fixed on the rear fenders and rattle can sprayed. It will need a clear coat.

Change of plans. I am not going to part out the car.
I do, however, have another 1992 Prelude Si 4WS Shell; needs motor, tranny, ecu and exhaust, that I would be willing to sell to the buyer of this one for $800. That has a clean title in my name as well.
