I'm sure it can be done, but it probably wont last as long, thats why honda doesnt do it for you.

if u can gain all those whp by simply tuning then why even bother wasting $$ on I,H,E where u wont even get that amount of HP for like 3x more $$

Are you saying that a tuned motor is less reliable than an untuned motor?

Honda uses very safe fuel and ignition curves for the those in the world who do not follow common sense. IE: Filling up with regular when it clearly states "premium only" on the gauge cluster.

On a stock B18C you can extract a good amount of power with proper tuning. We have seen over 10whp in certain parts of the powerband after fuel/ignition/cam gear tuning. This is a stock motor mind you. The more "breathing" mods you make, the more tuning has to be done. I have never seen, nor heard of a 20whp gain by just doing fuel/ignition tuning, anywhere in the powerband, on a stock motor.

A car with a good tune will run smoother, get better fuel efficiency, and make more power than one w/o.

I added abit over 10WHP on my stock B18B by tunning it with Chrome. The tunning was 100% safe also.

i don't know about that. 10hp is a lot when you really think about it.

i'm sure the possibly is there, but all you're gonna be tuning is how much fuel you're adding and possibly some timing.

if you don't really change the engine, you're not gonna see big gains.
