Default Purge welding.... question....

If you 'tee' off the line that runs from the tank to machine, and you have it set to 19cfm, with now having TWO lines feeding argon, would you be getting 19cfm out of the torch end since their is a second line feeding off that with argon? I would see it would have less CFM im my mind as it exits the torch....

thanks

i have mine setup as you mention with a "T" at the valve, but i also have a ball valve at the other end of the hose for shutting it on and off for back purging as well as a needle spring valve so i can adjust the amount of argon flowing as it doesn't need to flow as much as your torch. i'll have to post up some pics some time soon if i can find the time.

I purge with a seperate bottle...seems to come out alot nicer than "t'ing" off of one regulator..Before i would set the cfh to say ~25 for the purge and after stepping on the pedal once it would settle to about ~10...
