compression results? Gs-R what should it be at?
I have a 94 Gs-R, with supposedly 13,000 miles(? odometer reads?). I cheched the compresion with all plugs out cranked over 9 times, engine was hot:
#1-205, #2-205, #3-205, #4-205.
1) this seems very low, what should it be at??
second test I poured oil ion the cylinders and got these numbers:
#1-275, #2-275, #3- 240 , #4- 240.
ppleses help I think there is more miles on my car than I think. The car was perfect condition. and everything looked legit. pleases help.

Holy crap man! Those are pretty damn high numbers from what my GSR is... I believe that its supposed to be around 210? Correct me if I'm wrong guys!! But it shouldn't add compression when you put in oil.... Cyl. rings bad maybe?
I didnt add any oil, and my GSR was at 210 across all 4. Probably higher if you add oil. Also, those dyno numbers are really low. Have you done a tune up recently??

also everything seems to be running fine. nice and smooth. But still slow as hell. I was told that it should be puttin out 150-155 whp stock.
When I just had I/H/E I dynoed at 151...I checked my compression and it was 190 all the way across. I believe that when you put oil in the cylinders and the numbers come out higher it is worn/unseated piston rings.
Is it worn piston rings or valve seals. also I was just told to hold the throttle wide open wich I did not so I'm going to test again.
Alright looks like my compression is fine. Sometimes the car surges , espsically at low rpm. The tach doesn't even read it cause it is so abrupt. It will do it with it on cruise also. It think it is the cap and rotor, only a little red dust on the cap though. maybe this is why the low dyno results?
Id definately do a cap/rotor/plugs and maybe wires(OEM). My GSR with shortram intake, crappy 4-2-1 header and exhaust did 161@ wheels with 84k on the clock. 133 is WELL below what a gsr should be, and it might mean you have some more serious problems, but i would start with the obvious.
