Default Automatic tranny fluid old.. should i change it?
TRIED SEARCHING... DIDN'T GET THE EXACT ANSWER I WAS LOOKIN FOR... anyway... my '95 accord lx has +234,xxx miles on it... i think i need to change the transmission fluid on account of it's color looks like engine oil.... i bought it a year ago and it had 218,xxx miles on it but it looks like the tranny fluid has never been changed... now, my buddies are tellin' me not to change it because it will supposedly mess it up after all this time.... what to do what to do?...

Since you have no idea when it was changed last, changing the fluid and filter is a great idea. It won't mess anything up.

Have all 9 quarts flushed with ATF-Z1 like stated in the other thread.
