Tune up? I am asssuming you mean you want to make more power? There are 2 routes, Turbo and N/A, actually 3. There is NOS too. Do some research, what are your goals? How much power to do want to make? Do you want a fast track car for the strip or autocross? Search is your friend on this site. This has been covered hundreds of times.

intake. header, exhaust, custom ecu chip, cams

those are standard DIY mods that wont cost a ton of money and you will see some good power increases over stock

Just change the spark plugs and check the spark plug wires for dirt or wearing.

If you want something close to stock, buy Mugen parts. It's not going to be cheap though.

If you want to make more power for free, just take off your ac and ps...

I live in arizona so there isn't a chance in hell i would take off my ac and i dont like fighting my steering wheel to make low speed turns but its free hp if it suits your goals

nitrous is the cheapest hp per dollar upgrade. on a stock gsr you could squeeze a 30 shot. for less than 800 bucks you can have a BADASS nitrous setup.

Weight reduction. Then a set of cams and cam gears, then chip your ECU and tune it.

you can easily safely do more than double a 30 shot on a stock motor

thank you DC2, Mang, TurboGS-R, BigAl1911, patrick4588, EndlessDc2, VTteg, DC2SIR-G, shutupnskate & lVlemphizStylez

i've already thought about turbo charge and nitrous but to me it's kinda risky to blow and i really don't wanna blow my great engine that's the whole point i try to stay as much stock as possible and i know there's a way to turbo charge it real nicely but the cost for that one is pretty high i also thought about the k20 swap but that's like thousands for mods now less weight sounds great but i cannot get rid of the ac i live in houston texas pretty hot up in here but i will consider other things exhaust ecu etc... sounds great so what top brand should i go for? best of the best guys...

if you want your car to breathe better, start with the basics.. intake/header/exhaust

intake: AEM cold air.

exhaust: there are a lot of great exhausts out there. i ike my rsr exmag becuase it's quiet at cruising speeds. if you want a cheaper route, have a local muffler shop weld 2.25 or 2.5 in. pipe straight back from the cat to an aftermarket muffler. invest in a high flow cat while you're at it.

headers: again depends on what you can afford. if you want to be cheap there is a sponsor selling megan racing headers for 130$ that are IMO as good as a lot of headers priced $200-$300. if you want something quality, check out rage or hytech or smsp headers( $500 range), again in the sponsor classifieds.

before you spend your money on bolt-ons though, get your engine running good. ngk plugs, spark plug wires, change your oil( mobil 1 syn.) also check your cap and rotor. if your car has a lot of miles, seafoam might be your best route. other mods you might want to consider before spending money on boltons are a short shifter and lowering springs/shocks as this will make your GSR a lot more fun to drive

good luck

i'm hearing everything you say shutupnskate, great advices you got there for me and thanks a bunch for breaking it down, lowering is definite and i will be getting tein best of best (which i have heard everywhere) my car has quite some miles in it it's a 95 but all jobs maintenance have been done at the dealership where the best mechanic guy i know does the job on my gsr now for the other parts i like things to be as quiet as possible such for the exhaust and header (no aftermarket though but thanks) i will be looking the brand you gave and get back at ya on that
