Best Mods
My friend wants to get his 97 gs-r runing a lil better. As is right now it came with a OBX header and some other muffler, which i forgot the name of. But my question here is what are the best mods to do. (best bang for your buck) He plans on throwing a turbo into eventually but that is after we totally rebuild the engine. Also which is the best turbo kit? What is safe boost to run?
Thank you for your time and help

i guess the best answer is to search. however, a custom kit is probably the best, unless you need to be carb legal. the amount of boost you run depends on what you rebuild with and how well you tune it. If he plans to go turbo, tell him not to waste his money on a new header or exhaust since he wont need a header with a turbo, and will probably want to go witha 3" exhaust.

Re: Best Mods (Srt4u2envy)
welcome and please learn how to search or you will get scared off the board with everyone screaming SEARCH! the archives are filled with useful info.
"Your search for best bang returned 103 results."
best bang for the buck for me would be the itr rear anti-sway bar with bsq mounting kit.
all your questions about turbo probably has been answered in the forced inudction forum found here.
