jumping in 1st

Default jumping in 1st

my crx sometimes jumps and starts like bull rider bucking sometimes when in in 1st gear, doesnt do it all the time and only does this in 1st gear, i dont know what to check.

What RPM? Possibly it is simply that you are not in a high enough range. My 90 300zx and 88 civic do taht to an extent

havent tooken notice but probably around 2000rpm, this is just going down my driveway so im not reving high.

My 2002 Saturn VUE does that too...not when your giving it gas, but in 1st gear kinda going on its own power, it bucks a bit, till you give it more gas or less clutch...

It's the weak motor mounts. The gentle push of the engine at that RPM make the engine rock back and forth, after a bit, it will jump around. I get it too. It's fine. Simply get stronger motor mounts and the engine won't rock, but you will feel the vibrations of the engine running more. It's a lose lose situation. Unless you get brand new stock mounts.

alright so pretty much its no problem i just have to deal with it, it doesnt bother me much anyway, just shift into 2nd and its fine anyway so ill just keep doing that.

thanks people for letting me know there is nothing for me to be worried about
