Default New EJ8 owner..a question about suspension setups...

Im looking to get a nice suspension setup where I can be about 2 inches lower than stock and still retain a great daily driver. What shock+spring combo would you guys suggest? Im tryign to stay away from full coilovers. Not worth the money in my opinion.

I have Eibach sportlines and it gave my car a really nice drop (96 ex coupe). I think 2" would be to much, you will start to rub unless you get some REALLY stiff springs and shocks. I'm going to keep the sportlines and get Koni Yellows. I would suggest the same for you. Koni's are really good shocks and they are adjustable.

I think SOHC4life 96 is exxagerating. What is your budget? and will you be racing the car, or mostly daily grind?

Strickly daily driving, no racing at all. I just like the feel/look of a slightly lowered car. I could take the damn thing off road as it sits now.

I have Ground Control + Tokico Illuminas on my EJ1 (not an EJ8 but essentially the same as far as suspension). I love it.

real men scrape

if its for daily, you probably dont need to shell out that much for konis... and i dont think you'll need coil overs either.

Any suggestions? How are kyb shocks with tein springs? I dont know if I really need konis or even need anything adjustable beacuse I would just be getting springs not coilovers.
