Default Need Help Welder Not Working (Harbor Freight Tig)

I just got a new welder im new to welding and my welders not working. The power light lights up and i checked and its getting gas. so im assuming im not getting enough current from the wall. The welder sounds really quiet and ive been told that this welder is pretty noisy also when i increase the amp rate the noise still sounds the same its like a low humm.

I made a 30' extension using 10/3 i maybe losing a lil current from there but it shouldn't be that much right?

Also my house is old. maybe the wall jus isnt getting enough 220 lol i dunno.

or maybe i wired it wrong but would the power light on the tig still turn on?

Tommorow im goign to get rid of the extension cable and change the connector so that it goes to wall directly to see if that was a problem but if people can help that would be cool thanks.

First call an electrician if you aren't for sure on your wiring. Then if it still doesn't work, send it back and buy a Miller.
