Default Crazy MIT kid's bmw...

I know it's not Honda, but audio is kind of universal for all cars. This kid installed a computer, web cam, siren, police strobes, PA system, and about a million other things for under $1000. And it looks clean as hellllll too.

I thought all the items he installed are quite stupid/useless IMO.

See **** like this is funny to me. We all have to start somewhere. I give him props for effort and execution. Its a DIY project remember. Peeps damn near spooge themselves when they see a Steve Brown,Chris Yato or Dave (Fishman) Rivera(?) project. Thet didn't get that way overnight...If you get the chance ask them about their early installs and see what answers you get.

you get those reactions b/c the op claimed this was the install was "crazy" and "clean as hellllllll"

Had he just said, hey check out this MIT guy's car - kinda pointless but sorta cool - you'd probably get slightly different reactions.

None the less, even my first install didn't look that craptastic...

"Factory specifications are simply unacceptable, at least in my opinion"

A freaking PA setup on the dash? Reverse horns? "Stealthy" computer screen bolted in with plumbing fixtures?

I guess those stupid germans didn't take into consideration the radio-shack nerd demographic when designing their vehicles.

I have to agree with the others thats pretty crappy. Where is the bluetooth? Screw all those damn wires and switches that should have been integrated into the PC.
