Tightening E-brake

Default Tightening E-brake

I need to tighten my e-brake on my 91 dx hatch, and anyone help me?

if you look on the center console thing between the seats, there are little caps that pop off, one in front one in back... Pop off the back one, there should be a little yolk back there from the E brake and stuff, that should be the way to tighten it, but I am not positive, try that and see what happens though.

Properly adjust the Rear Drums BEFORE you adjust on the inside....
There is a service Hole/oval in the back of the drums, pop a flathead in there, and then spin the Gear to adjust the breaks...

Take off one of the drums to see the Star-gear I'm talking about. That needs to move BEFORE you touch the inside.
Chances are, once you adjust that, the inside one will be A-ok...
