Transmission quesiton..........
Ok I have a 2000 Civic Ex Coupe . with a damn automatic (((hate auto))) . I have been noticing it has been acting strange in certain situations . When I am in traffic and I have to stop or slow down quickly , then have to step on the gas to get back up to speed . The tranny feels like it jerks . Then locks in and I accelerate . The pause between braking and accelerating isn't that long and the jerk only happens in that situation . I had a friend of mine tell me it was nothing to be worried about and that , this was caused by "Transmission fluid getting forced up to the front of the tranny ? ? ? " is this true or is my friend blowing hot air . or is this a sign of a possible prob ?
Dx4dR93: Your friend is probably right due to the strange driving situation you described but it also may be time to chage your ATF How many miles
EDIT: nevermind if its a 2000 then its probably fine on ATF

Freshly changed fluid every 15 thou . Hell I sometimes change it if I think its getting slightly dirty , who can't say I aint **** about my car LOL
Back in the days when I had an auto the same thing was happening and I took it to a shop they changed the tranny mount along with engine mounts that were bad and the problem was solved.
