Why is the old one not made anymore?
Just my opinion, but I like the old one a lot more.

 

Mostly because of the exit of the DC2 they figured they would need a new wheel.
Before they had probably 5 wheels to choose from some even with wood accents to them I'm guessing those would ended up in mini van of Hondas of some sort.

the old FG-360 was a lot better looking. That looks to similar to the Momo competitions...

 

for suede there is more grip compared to leather. but the suede material will not last. the picture above is momo's racing steering wheel mod 78, they also make another one i think it's mod 80. there is also a bunch of other mod ##. but those are for different styles of racing, rallying, cart, etc...

this is not the FG replacement. This is the other wheel that they had. i think it was the racing 1... There is no replacement for the FG360 yet...

 

Suede = Better grip, stains from sweat permanently.

 

suede steering wheel is usually meant to use with suede driving gloves. That'll give you the best grip overall. That way your sweaty palms won't wear it out as fast plus suede on suede feel is excellent.

Dude, the new Mugen steering wheel is ugly in my opinion... It belongs in a lowrider, wrapped in leopard print velvet... Nothing will ever step up to the Mugen FG-360.

 

So why'd you get a Spoon steering wheel?

I like the Momo Type 78. I have one in both of my Civics.

The Racing II is such a sucky offering compared to the FG360. The suede will not last in a daily driver and I like how the FG360 is so much more streetable with leather wrap and the pad.

Wasn't it discontinued because one of their vendors were no longer making one of the parts? They should bring it back, along with the air spoiler and Mugen RNRs.

i agree. the new wheel is kinda ugly...i absolutly mugen..i have the fg-360 with pad,, and like 1 fast r said....there will never be a replacement for the old fg360....
